![]() ![]() ![]() Sorry, if you like RCTW, fine, some people like strange things but in the long run, this will prove to be the biggest joke in the 'sim' world since EA buggered up Simcity, you mark my words. Have you seen the new additions in Planet Coaster? The terrain tools are ridiculously better than what RCTW has and thats just one area that it excels. I KNOW technically its not finished and is 'early access' but PC is still on Alpha may I remind you and they manage to do SO much more. ![]() WHO walks or runs like they do in this game? The entire thing is like one of those cheap joke sims that Germany spits out by the dozen, yet its full price and not even amusing! I mean, come on, the path placement is joke, the people look AWFUL and the annimation of them looks like its been done by an alien who has only ever seen still pics of humans. Originally posted by Maulite:Just checked your games log simonmd, you've not even played RCTW! I havent driven a LADA either but I know from reviews and TV road tests that they are crap cars.Ĭome on, I know you must feel a bit silly if you fell for the hype and spent cash on this but I have yet to find ONE YouTube review or lets play that doesnt basically say this software is laughable. Remember, we’re gamers and geeks, not ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Varsity girls! :) If you look at my videos on YouTube, you can visibly see the changes from my first park to my latest and if you’re stuck on something, there are tons of tutorials to help you: I'll also be streaming later on Twitch if you want to join me then: 14:00 (CDT) / 19:00 (BST) / 20:00 (CET) Thanks guys and have fun. Yes I have my gripes, but I just have to keep telling myself this is in early access and there will be problems until it's released - I don't head to the nearest forum and say how crap something is – how will that help anyone? I’ve been playing it since day one and still play it now because it’s a really good game. UGC is added daily and Atari is responding to and acting on so many of the requests, bugs and issues. I love RCTW and every update brings something new. We need constructive criticism to help both game designs create the finished products we all want to see. This is not the next superhero versus movie or the tiring argument of why Android is better than iPhone (Android is better! lol) Why wouldn’t any consumer want two brilliant games to play instead of one? There will always be trolls and keyboard warriors but for the people who haven’t played this and are just dismissing it from images or videos on YouTube, that’s pretty dumb. If you’re truly a fan of these games, stop slating them before they’re finished. When both games are released, they will each have similar content.Ītari have already said piece-by-piece builder is being worked on at the moment. On one side you have the gameplay and on the other you have the graphics and make-your-own building tools. This – like Planet Coaster – isn’t a finished game you are buying into a pre-released product. All the components are already included and every few weeks, a huge update comes along and adds more to the game along with bug fixes and graphical improvements. RCTW is in Early Access (like beta) and instead of concentrating solely on the graphics and piece-by-piece builder first, they wanted to get out a fully playable game and build up from there. It’s not yet a full game, but as it’s in alpha, no one is expecting it to be. Planet Coaster looks amazing! The graphics are sharp and they’ve included a lot of in-game build tools along with a few rides and basic coaster sets. ![]()
